Titanium steel composite plate is a new type of material that cannot be separated by welding titanium plates and steel plates together through explosive bonding, explosive rolling, and other methods.

Substrate materials: 20R, 20g, Q235, Q345, Q235B, Q345B, Q245R, Q345R, and other materials
Composite board materials: TA1, TA2, TA9, TA10, and other materials
Production process
Titanium and steel cannot be directly welded due to their ability to generate brittle titanium iron intermetallic compounds. The production process of titanium steel composite plate [2] roughly includes the following three types:
(1) Copper welding composite. It is a composite method that uses copper silver eutectic alloy to connect titanium and steel under high vacuum without flux.
(2) Rolling composite. It is a rolling composite of titanium and steel under the protection of nitrogen gas. Intermediate alloys can be added or not between titanium and steel.
(3) Explosive recombination. It generates a pulse load through the shock wave generated by explosives placed in the Qinfu layer during explosion, causing short-term high temperatures (3000 ℃) and high pressures (100000 atmospheres) to press metals together.
application area
Titanium steel composite plates have been widely used in industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, shipbuilding, electronics, power, metallurgy, machinery, aerospace, and atomic energy.
